The Chemical Business Association (CBA) has launched a new cost-effective range of services that are said to help chemical companies develop and maintain their levels of compliance.
The new system, is designed to support companies in the current economic downturn and will initially offer four key services on a consultancy basis. They include environmental appraisals, dangerous goods safety advisor services, emergency response plans and audit and the safe handling of chemicals.
The CBA says it will provide a complete appraisal, relevant training and an action plan for each company and can be tailored for particular businesses. It is available to any supply chain company such as manufacturers, blenders, warehouses, sales offices, logistics companies and distributors.
“We wanted to respond pro-actively to the current situation and offer help where it is most needed,” commented CBA director, Peter Newport. “We didn’t want to just sit at our desks whilst the industry’s resources are under pressure.”
