Ambition, Flexibility and Innovation…
We offer greater flexibility and quicker turnaround than its competitors. At the same time, our focus on base R&D, technical field support and unique, customised products differentiates us from smaller suppliers and middleman distributors. The development of BRB International BV has always been organic, due to our focus on innovations and to a problem solving approach in its markets.
Personal Care is the #1 market of BRB Silicones in Europe. Our manufacturing base is in the Netherlands and Malaysia. We are now broadening our Malaysian industrial footprint to further back integrate in dimethicone copolyols and alkyl dimethicones for a planned startup end 2015.
In the Personal Care industry, in addition to a competitive and broad product range, a technical support from ingredient suppliers brings added value to customers in this world of increasingly complex cosmetic formulations. To meet this demand, BRB is extending its Technical Service resources with a new Personal Care Technical Service Manager based in Europe to develop customised guide formulations for BRB customers in the region.
BRB will exhibit at In-Cosmetics Europe in Barcelona, on 14-16 April 2015 on booth 7R31. During the exhibition, BRB will release a range of 7 new cosmetic formulations highlighting the versatility of silicone emulsifiers.
Creating stable emulsions is a daily challenge for cosmetics formulators and silicone emulsifiers are powerful additives used at very low level to improve wetting and compatibility of the formulations ingredients. The new facility will help BRB to further increase its portfolio starting from standard blockbusters such as BRB 526 (INCI : PEG-12 dimethicone) or BRB 6373 (INCI : Cyclopentasiloxane (and) PEG/PPG-18/18 dimethicone) up to BRB 423 a molecule combining alkyl and polyether groups on a silicone backbone to form an elegant silicone emulsifier for light silky water-in-oil emulsions for skin care applications.
BRB Silicones can meet the challenge of creating stable emulsions and will introduce on the show various formulations around its emulsifier’s portfolio.
