C&T giant Beiersdorf has launched two updated logos for its Nivea brand in order to align what it calls multiple existing versions. Designed by Interbrand Hamburg, the new logos for Nivea and Nivea for Men both retain the familiar typography featured on the brand’s Nivea Creme product.

Changes to the universal logo, which has been designed to appeal to a predominantly female clientele, include elegantly curved lines and a subtle use of silver, while the Nivea for Men one has a precise and modern look.

“Nivea and Nivea for Men are strong brands and require strong, clear identities in order to remain firmly established in consumers’ minds in the future,” comments Franziska Schmiedebach, head of global marketing at Nivea. “The new logo reflects our claims: modernity, the brand’s cosmetic values and innovation.”

The new logos will gradually be rolled out over the entire portfolio including existing ranges, new products and POS labelling.
