Avon is furthering its ambitions to expand into the health and wellness industry with the appointment of Anjana Srivastava.
Srivastava has been appointed President of Health and Wellbeing in the US, reporting to CEO Scott White and joining the New Avon Leadership Team.
She has previously worked at NeoLife International, where she served as Chief Product Officer and Head of the Scientific Advisory Board.
Srivastava has a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, a Master of Science in Botany and an MBA.
Srivastava is also a member of the American College of Nutrition and serves on the Senior Scientific Advisory Council and the Regulatory Affairs Committee of the Council for Responsible Nutrition.

Srivastava will now be taked with leading Avon’s expansion into the health and wellness market.
The sector is said to make up the largest product category in the direct selling channel, making up 33.5% of all sales.
Avon aims to launch into the field next year in a bid to increase its consumer base while providing more earnings opportunities for its representatives.
Srivastava said that she was “thrilled” to join Avon and lead its expansion into health and wellness.
She said: “As the company for women, Avon is committed to taking a leadership position on the issues that matter most to women – and her family’s health and nutrition is a top concern."

Srivastava will now be tasked with assembling a team and developing Avon’s presence in health and wellness.

White added that Srivastava was “uniquely” qualified for the role, thanks to her experience in both science and health as well as direct selling. He also said that Avon’s venture into this new arena would help it become “the leading social selling company in North America”.
