Despite scars from safety concerns, France's surgical market is growing by an average of 2%

In the French cosmetic surgery market, breast augmentation continues to top the list as the most popular type of procedure, reaching 41,924 in total in 2015, an increase on the previous year’s figure of 40,442.

This may be a little surprising given the scars that have been left on the market by the PIP scandal back in 2010 and subsequent recalls of a number of breast implant products.
