Lessonia has clarified what the proposed Cosmos Standard would mean for both its products and its customers. The company’s GreenExfoliator, for example, will be chosen for natural certification while its BioExfoliator is eligible for the organic equivalent.

While some minerals manufactured by Lessonia, such as Rhyolite, Corindon, Garnet and Pearl will not be allowed, others like the company’s new Microzest 25 product are not considered to be nanoparticles and have been accepted.

According to the company, Microzest 25 is the first range of 100% natural plant pigments providing an alternative to clays and mineral pigments for use in colour cosmetics.
