German online retail giant Zalando is amping up its beauty offer by launching in five key new markets this spring.
The move, which includes France, Belgium, Italy, Sweden and Denmark, comes a year the retailer announced it would be venturing into beauty.
It debuted its women’s beauty offer in March last year, adding a male grooming selection in October.
A partnership with The Estée Lauder Companies has also been expanded and will see a further eight Lauder brands added to its German beauty offer, as well as rolling out the mix in new markets.
New brands include: Aramis, Bumble and Bumble, Darphin, GlamGlow, Smashbox, and Bobbi Brown, with new markets offering a more tailored selection.
In addition to Germany and the newly announced markets, Zalando offers its beauty concept in Poland and Austria, which launched at the end of last year.
