Weener to integrate Plasticum as company subsidiary
The integration will include Plasticum’s 300 employees and four European plants
Germany based packaging company Weener has integrated Netherlands based Plasticum Group into the company as a subsidiary. The integration will include Plasticum’s 300 employees and four European plants.
As a manufacturer of plastic standard caps and closures for the personal and home care industries, the integration of Plasticum is said to complement Weener’s existing product portfolio, according to the company.
In line with the move, current Plasticum CEO Roel Zeevat will become the company’s group CEO. Meanwhile, Gerhold Flockenhagen will become group CTO, Ralf Sonnenberg will become CSO for branded articles and Ben Mennink will be named CSO for standard products.
