Elliott Advisors, the owner of British book retailer Waterstones, is allegedly in the running to buy The Body Shop.
The investment firm is reportedly among the parties that have submitted indicative offers for the cosmetics chain in recent weeks, according to a Sky News report.
The news outlet added that the auction is being handled by bankers at Morgan Stanley.
