Upcycled British beauty brand UpCircle has launched a crowdfunding initiative via investment platform Crowdcube, the company’s first since 2018.
According to UpCircle, the £300,000 target has been exceeded with 19 days still to go, with a current 856 investors.
The natural and plastic-negative brand intends to channel the funding towards increasing its product range and expanding its reach.
Share price starts from £1.62 and the indie company is valued at £18m.
Interested parties are encouraged to sign up for a Crowdcube account to invest.
UpCircle is far from the only brand in the cosmetics space to harness people power to take its ambitions to the next level.
Tisserand, Bee Good, Reswirl, Beauty Cleanse and Réduit are just some of the beauty names to turn to the likes of Kickstarter and Crowdcube to raise funds and put themselves in front of a new audience.
