By doing so, Unilever is making a move into the premium hair care arena, which will bolster its already successful mass market hair care lines. Says Vindi Banga, Unilever ceo: “This is an exciting acquisition for us. It illustrates our determination to actively manage our portfolio in line with our strategic priorities including a focus on personal care and higher growth areas. Adding TIGI will further build on our position in the hair care category.”
