American rapper and record producer Tyler the Creator is expanding his brand Golf le Fleur to the UK.
The lifestyle brand, known for its preppy apparel offerings, also operates in beauty, as well as accessories, footwear, eyewear and luggage.
Reported by WWD, the brand will debut its collection in London department store Selfridges on 2 December.
It will be the first time the brand will be available anywhere other than the US.
Golf le Fleur announced its beauty line in December 2021, which included its main fragrance French Waltz.
The brand describe the fragrance as: “Named after a song by the late great Leon Ware, French Waltz is an ode to the memories of laying in gardens to sun dry after lake swimming during the summer.
“With top notes of jasmine petals, hints of mandarin and magnolia, grounded by a sandalwood base, the floral scent is made for everyone to enjoy.”
The beauty line also consists of nail polish shades including Georgia Peach, Geneva Blue and Glitter.
Speaking to Essence in 2021, Tyler said “I don’t even see this as me diving into the beauty space.
“It’s just me saying ‘I want to make perfume’, so I made it. ‘I want to make nail polish’, so I made it. I just made this, and this is what I’m on. And I hope people fuck with it.”
Reportedly the brand is said to be focusing on Europe for the next step in expansion and the residency at Selfridges marks the beginning of this leap.
