The solution for tough pumping applications

A research and development laboratory has used one of Pump Engineering’s 3M magnetically driven centrifugal pumps in a recent oil field application. According to the liquids handling specialist, the job required a pump to circulate dense phase CO2 at flow rates of up to 50mc/h at 30m, with a system pressure of 200 bar. In this instance, a CN M50-315 3M pump made from carbon steel with titanium rear casing and 316L stainless steel parts was used.

Pump Engineering says its 3M mag-drive pumps are suitable for pumping even the most aggressive, explosive and toxic liquids safely and efficiently. They have no glands, seals or valves and therefore provide leak-free operation.
