Symbiotic chemicals condition hair of all lengths

Dr Straetmans has developed Symbio quat, a second generation liquid conditioning agent inspired by biological symbiosis.

Symbio quat is a blend of two natural polysaccharides of different molecular sizes and different degree of quaternization. Due to their dissimilar size and structure, the polysaccharides bind to different sites on the hair, delivering performance without product build-up. The system was designed with consideration of the fact that human hair varies in quality depending on its length. According to Dr Straetmans, the quat also foams well, imparts no slimy character to the product and improves skin feel when used in a shower gel.
