Spectro Analytical Instruments has launched several improved versions of its machines to coincide with Pittcon.

The company showcased the third generation of its Spectro Midex micro XRF spectrometer, which is said to be more powerful, flexible and faster than its predecessor, as well as a new analytical software system, Smart Analyzer Vision 4.0, which is designed to be used with the company’s Spectro Arcos and Spectro Genesis ICP-OES instruments.

The final instrument premiered by Spectro at Pittcon was an improved variant of its Spectro Genesis, which now runs with Spectro’s new Smart Analyzer Vision 4.0. According to Spectro, the machine is available with either radial or axial plasma observation.

Pittcon took place from 8-13 March in Chicago.
