Solabia USA celebrates grand opening of new North American Headquarters and Customer Experience Centre

Solabia USA proudly celebrated the grand opening of its new North American headquarters, including the opening of its new R&D laboratory and Customer Experience Center

The state-of-the-art facility represents a significant investment in innovation, collaboration,  and scientific excellence for the cosmetics industry. The centre is focused on technical  applications and new product development and serves as Solabia Group’s global  competency centre for suncare and colour cosmetics. 

The facility also includes a dedicated Customer Experience Center designed to welcome  partners and showcase the latest advancements in functional ingredients and sunscreen  dispersion technology. This immersive environment enables customers and collaborators  to explore new concepts, engage directly with technical experts, and experience Solabia  technologies in action. 

In addition, the site houses brand new administrative offices that support Solabia’s  multiple business units across the region and are designed to scale with the company’s  continued growth.

The new R&D centre supports a comprehensive range of technical services, including:

  • Customer formulation development and optimisation 

Development of new formulations or enhancement of existing formulations by integrating  Solabia technologies to improve performance, stability, and sensory attributes. 

  • SPF development & testing 

Expert guidance on suncare formulations, including SPF test management and formulation  optimisation. 

  • Education & training 

Educating clients and industry partners on cosmetic ingredients, emerging technologies,  skin and hair science, formulation strategies, and regulatory considerations to strengthen  technical knowledge and development capabilities. 

  • Innovation & market inspiration 

Inspiring consultants, brand leaders, and formulation chemists to design innovative  formulations with unique sensory profiles, while drawing from marketing trends, consumer  insights, and evolving global beauty market inspiration. 

The grand opening event featured food and refreshments, mini educational sessions,  hands-on laboratory demonstrations, and opportunities to capture short-form educational  content showcasing the Customer Experience Center in action. Attendees engaged directly  with Solabia scientists and technical experts, experiencing the facility’s collaborative and  forward-thinking environment.
