The beauty retailer launched earlier this year for UK customers

Beauty retailer Skincity has launched a new make-up brand combining kind-to-skin ingredients with high colour pigments.

MakeTheMake comprises a range of skus including a primer, concealer, foundation, bronzer and highlighter (from £9).

According to the brand, the collection took two years to develop and is blended with a range of active ingredients to provide instant results and improve skin’s quality over time.

Product Development Manager Sofia Mellström said the team wanted to create a range of colour cosmetics that acted like a skin care range.

She said: “We weren’t content with the idea that make-up should care for the skin, we believe it should actually be skin care with added pigment.”

The brand also offers a range of make-up brushes and accessories.

Customers can now shop the new range via makethemake.com and the Skincity UK website.
