US cosmeceutical brand SkinCeuticals (L'Oreal), known for its targeted skin treatments, is set to release a new skincare product designed to help prevent and correct the onset of redness in the skin. The new Redness Neutralizer is said to treat the symptoms of Rosacea and skin sensitivity by protecting the skin against environmental triggers, such as UV exposure, which stimulate the sensory nerve endings and cause flushing, burning and discomfort for redness sufferers.
A key ingredient in the formula is the patent-pending NeuroMed Complex, described as a combination of biomimetic peptides and natural actives that help to protect against the appearance of redness while protecting the skin's barrier. Other key actives include Bisabolol to relieve skin irritation, squalene for its moisturising benefits and shea butter to soothe the skin.
Redness Neutralizer launches in February priced at £70.
