Dermatologist-prescribed skin care brand Skin + Me has named Smart Works as its ‘Invite-A-Friend’ charity partner for 2026.
The brand will support the women’s charity through the initiative, which allows customers to support meaningful causes through referrals.
Skin + Me consumers will be able to donate the credit received upon referring a friend to the brand to Smart Works.
The charity supports unemployed women across the UK as they get into work, offering free interview-appropriate clothing and interview preparation support.
Speaking to Cosmetics Business, Smart Works CEO Anna Hemmings said: “This partnership with Skin + Me is rooted in a shared belief that unlocking self-confidence is key to ensuring women are better placed to put their best foot forward and achieve success.
“Like Smart Works, today’s beauty industry is more inclusive than ever, and we welcome partnerships, like this one with Skin + Me, which are taking meaningful action to deliver that inclusivity for women in relation to employment and prospects.”
The ‘Invite-a-Friend’ model means consumers are able to donate directly to the charity.
Hemmings added: “It is a simple, accessible way to build awareness of Smart Works and the work we do and for Skin + Me’s community to make a real difference - turning everyday peer-to-peer recommendations into meaningful support for women who need it most.
“The money raised will enable Smart Works to continue to deliver our service across the UK and reach more women who need our support.”
For Hemmings, Skin + Me is a perfect partner thanks to shared values.
