SID MEDICOS Co., Ltd., a global beauty and aesthetics company, has established a collaborative product development framework for LemonBottle that incorporates the hands-on experience and market insights of aesthetics professionals worldwide.
The framework was developed through LemonBottle Academy Season 2, which brought together approximately 100 aestheticians, doctors and educators from the UK, Mexico and the US, as well as countries across Europe, Asia and Africa, between June and August 2026.
During the programme, SID MEDICOS gathered insights into consumer needs, professional practices and beauty trends across different markets and began incorporating them into the development of new LemonBottle products. This represents the first time that global professionals have participated directly throughout the company’s product development process.
Developing competitive products for global markets requires listening to the professionals who work most closely with consumers in each country
SID MEDICOS recognised the value of the insights that participating professionals have gained through direct interaction with consumers in their respective markets. As product preferences, professional practices and beauty trends vary by country and region, the company believes that incorporating local expertise from the initial planning stage is essential to developing products suited to the needs of different markets.
Rather than simply providing feedback on products already under development, participating professionals have been involved from the initial planning stage, working closely with SID MEDICOS researchers throughout the process. Together, they have discussed and refined key product elements, including product naming, ingredients and formulations, container design and usability, and packaging developed with sustainability in mind.
This collaborative approach enables SID MEDICOS to incorporate local market experience and a practical understanding of consumer expectations, helping to enhance both overall product quality and relevance across individual markets.
The company plans to use the initiative as its first model for collaborative product development with global professionals and gradually expand the range of participants and products involved. Through this framework, SID MEDICOS aims to strengthen the competitiveness of LemonBottle while broadening its portfolio with new products that reflect the evolving needs of consumers worldwide.
“Developing competitive products for global markets requires listening to the professionals who work most closely with consumers in each country,” said a spokesperson for SID MEDICOS. “This initiative is particularly meaningful because Academy participants have extended their role beyond product education to contribute directly to the product development process.”
