Sephora appoints Christopher de Lapuente as new president and dg

Jacques Levy retires

LVMH has named Christopher de Lapuente as president and director general of the group's cosmetics distribution arm, Sephora. He succeeds Jacques Levy who is retiring. Lapuente, who is of dual Anglo-Spanish nationality, will also be a member of the group board. He moves to LVMH from Procter & Gamble which he joined in 1983, becoming president of P&G's hair care division in 2004.
