French beauty retailer Sephora has seen an 80% boost in consideration in tests of Google’s new service, TrueView. The service, which operates through YouTube, allows companies to link through to products alongside or within their video adverts that consumers can click on.
TrueView follows Google's Cards service, which it initiated in March. Cards, which are intended to eventually replace annotations, display as an overlay that runs alongside the video on desktop and tablet machines, and below the video on smartphones.
