Scent trail leads to Christina

Rumours are circulating that Procter & Gamble has penned an agreement with singer/songwriter Christina Aguilera to produce and market a fragrance line inspired by the artist.

The fragrance would be the latest in a long line of celebrity scents, but mark P&G's first celebrity signing since they took on the Cosmopolitan Cosmetics portfolio.

Christina Aguilera has long been pitted against Britney Spears by the media and P&G will surely be hoping that sales of any fragrance will produce similar results to the phenomenally successful Britney Spears fragrance.
