Risdon expands cosmetics packaging in Mexico

Risdon International has opened its second manufacturing facility in Reynosa, Mexico, adding production and assembly capacity to the packaging operations of the company’s other Reysosa plant, including lipsticks, mascaras, compacts, fragrance caps.

Risdon has also partnered with its neighbouring Technimark facility for injection moulding and a lacquer decorating line will be added at the nex plant in 2008.

“Our new Reynosa plant enhances Risdon’s ability to provide customers with greater efficiencies in delivering products that meet the most demanding launch schedules,” said Steve Pearlman, Risdon president. “The addition of the new Reynosa facility to our other North American and China manufacturing sites is yet another step in making Risdon the global leader in cosmetics packaging.”
