Rhodia advanced in CSR
Rhodia has been selected by the Advanced Sustainable Performance Indices (ASPI) Committee to feature in the Eurozone Index created by the Vigeo Group. This index includes the 120 best rated companies in the Eurozone according to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) criteria defined by Vigeo.
Rhodia’s inclusion in the ASPI reflects its commitment to addressing issues surrounding human rights, labour rights and customer and supplier relationships. Rhodia’s track record in terms of environmental policies is also being recognised.
“Our inclusion in the index is a tribute both to the group’s values and the way in which they are implemented and encourages us to be ever more rigorous in our approach. With our newly created reference system for measuring responsibility towards our stakeholders we are embarking on a new phase, which aims to incorporate sustainable development into the group’s management processes and encourage as many employees as possible to join us in this commitment. Sustainable development is emerging as an essential component in the rebuilding of Rhodia,” commented Jacques Khéliff, Rhodia’s director of sustainable development.
