Rhode has onboarded German supermodel Claudia Schiffer to drive hype for its upcoming launch.
The skin care brand of American model Hailey Bieber, Rhode’s new Barrier Butter is an intensive moisture balm promising deep hydration.
Bieber told Vogue that she wanted “somebody who could bring iconic energy” to the campaign, adding: “She looks unreal, she’s so beautiful, sweet and kind – I can’t even believe she wanted to do this.”
The 54-year-old, in turn, revealed that she and her daughters were fans of both Bieber and the brand.
Schiffer, together with Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford, ushered in the ‘supermodel era’ of the 1990s.
The model has featured on more than 1,000 magazine covers throughout her career.
Rhode’s new formula features five molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, skin-plumping humectant polyglutamic acid and nourishing murumuru butter to deliver a radiant glow.
It comes in two sizes, 5oz (US$38) and 1.35oz ($22), and is available from 28 October.
