Palle Pedersen, who joins from Arden, will head up the company's total portfolio of brands

Revlon has appointed Palle Pedersen as its Managing Director for Revlon’s total brand portfolio in Northern Europe.

Pederson previously worked as General Manager of Elizabeth Arden UK, Ireland and Nordic for two years, but will start in his new role effective immediately.

In a signed letter to the media announcing his move, he stated: “Following the acquisition of Elizabeth Arden by Revlon to create one global beauty company I am writing to you with news of a personnel change here in the UK.”

Before joining Elizabeth Arden in 2008, he worked as the Brand General Manager for Estée Lauder and Clinique brands, as well as Commercial Director for L’Oréal Denmark.

“This is a very exciting time for the Elizabeth Arden brand and our portfolio of prestige fragrances as we integrate two iconic companies to create a multi-brand beauty enterprise with tremendous opportunity for long-term growth,” he wrote.

Sune Holm will be joining the UK team, filling Pedersen’s previous role as General Manager in the UK & Ireland for Elizabeth Arden and the portfolio of prestige fragrances. Prior to his career with Elizabeth Arden, Sune worked for Estée Lauder, L’Oréal Consumer Division and Procter & Gamble.

“I am on hand to help with the transition and I’m sure Sune will be in touch very soon to make a personal introduction,” Pedersen added. “I would like to sincerely thank you for your support and I’m sure our paths will cross again in the future.”

Revlon completed the purchase of Elizabeth Arden in September 2016 in a $870m deal. The move created a company with annual sales of $3bn, which will be chaired by Revlon’s main shareholder, Ron Perelman.
