Are you an experienced regulatory professional ready to join a major player to implement the transitioning regulations?
Do you have experience working with a technical/ regulations in the Middle East?
With at least 5 years’ industry experience in a consumer goods regulatory/technical function, you have a Degree (or equivalent) in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or other life sciences. Knowledge regarding FDA, EU, GSO regulations is required and experience with cosmetics is preferred.
This is a key position with a global manufacturer and marketer of prestige skincare overseeing the Israel cosmetic regulations during the transition, managing the current premarket approvals and then transitioning to the new system. You will also act as direct liaison between R&D, Global Regulatory Affairs, local distributors and the Regulatory Affairs Regional Director.
With your experience and knowledge of the market place you will manage and coordinate all local regulatory affairs activities on a day-to-day basis, you will ensure the appropriate licensing, registration, marketing and legal compliance of products, liaising with various functional groups, regulatory agencies and the Ministries of Health across the region.
You have strong organisational and presentation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and product catalogues. You will need to nurture relationships with government officials so excellent judgment, tact, diplomacy and flexibility is essential.
Experience of working in the Middle East region is desirable. Some travel will be required with this role.
