Relaxing at the end (or beginning) of a long day with a cool glass or steaming mug of your drink of choice is one of life’s universal pleasures – and with the global beverage industry projected to be worth US$1,961bn by 2024, according to analyst PipeCandy, it is little wonder that the sector's influence is overflowing into beauty and beyond.

Recent years have seen the beauty and personal care category intertwine with the drinks sector in increasingly more creative ways, from skin care and hair care launches by the likes of Bleach London and Lush taking fertile inspiration from beer to the trend for wine-stained lips that took over TikTok at the end of last year.

Meanwhile, supplement drinks have also surged in popularity, further blurring the lines between beauty, wellness and nutrition by promising consumers beauty benefits with a refreshing taste.
