Quality Assurance Manager – Household - Hertfordshire - £50,000 (AE663716)

Are you experienced in a QA function with an understanding of manufacturing process from goods in to goods out?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy quality management systems, procedures, and continuous improvement programs
  • Establish quality assurance capabilities, ensure compliance, and drive supply chain optimisation
  • Oversee quality control processes, manage non-conformances, and make final product release decisions
  • Select, audit, and manage suppliers and third-party manufacturers to ensure quality standards
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure adherence to regulations, maintain quality documentation, and support audits
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to address quality issues and communicate performance to stakeholders
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate quality-related risks across the organisation

Candidate Requirements:

  • Solid experience in a Quality function in the chemical, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical industry
  • Detailed understanding of CLP Guidelines and/or ISO 22716, ideally with Quality Assurance Certification
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Expertise in managing quality systems and documentation
  • Ability to work flexibly and handle a wide range of tasks
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills
