Also exhibiting at this year’s Cosmeeting is French packaging specialist Alcan. The company will be showcasing a slew of new products including Tajine, a reworked version of the Eureka loose powder box.

The Tajine is described as a ‘tidy box’, preventing the powder from spilling and spreading inside the box. It comprises an ABS base, a sifter made from PP and an applicator featuring a screwing handle and washable dome applicator wrapped in flocked latex.

The shape of the handle is said to provide better grip and can be tapped to ensure the right amount of the product is on the applicator. It can contain up to 12.4ml of loose powder.

In addition, Alcan will be showcasing another new make-up concept - the Artist Tube. The product features a plastic tube and applicator brush, which can be locked to ensure optimum hygiene. The product is suitable for lipglosses, concealers, highlighters and other liquid bulks.
