Polimoon acquire Plastohm

Plastics specialist Plastohm has signed an agreement with Norwegian Polimoon with the result that Polimoon will acquire all its plastic manufacturing activities. The deal aims to see Polimoon established as a strategic leader in the plastics packaging sector and give Plastohm the opportunity to be part of a large industrial group. Formal acquisition proceedings are expected to be completed by the end of the summer.

“The agreement plays heavily on the complementary nature of our two businesses and will enable us to benefit from real synergies,” commented Pierre Sabatier, md Plastohm’s packaging division.
