Playtex Products acquires Hawaiian Tropic

Playtex Products has purchased Tiki Hut Holding Company, the owner of sun care brand Hawaiian Tropic for $83m.

Playtex Products has purchased Tiki Hut Holding Company, the owner of sun care brand Hawaiian Tropic for $83m.

The company has announced that it expects the acquisition to reduce earnings per share initially, but over the first 12 months of ownership the deal is expected to contribute to a moderate increase in revenue.
