Philip Kingsley has announced the appointment of Blake Hughes as its new CEO.
In his new role, Hughes will focus on developing the luxury hair care company's long term business strategy, aiming to accelerate the company's growth across its group of companies, Philip Kingsley Products and Philip Kingsley Trichological Clinics.
He will grow the business through capitalising on emerging opportunities in the UK and internationally, as well as in the evolving digital space.
Hughes joins the company from his previous role as Managing Director at premium skin care brand Murad, where he has worked for the last three years.
He has more than 20 years' experience in global beauty care, having previously held managerial positions at Elizabeth Arden, Procter & Gamble and Marks & Spencer as well as being a Board Member of the Cosmetic, Toiletries & Perfumery Association (CTPA).
Joan Kingsley, wife of the brand's late founder Philip Kingsley, speaking on behalf of the company's shareholders, said: “We are delighted that Blake is joining us at the helm of the Philip Kingsley group of companies.
"Blake is an exceptional leader with unique skills to develop and strengthen our clinics, our products, our people and our culture.
“We look forward to welcoming him to the Philip Kingsley family.”
Hughes added: “I am thrilled to join the Philip Kingsley team at such a prominent juncture in its evolution.
"I am excited to work alongside the Kingsley family and entire team to create an even more dynamic and customer centric brand, building on the entrepreneurial spirt and unique proposition that has been established.”
