Paul Frank to enter beauty
Debut cosmetics line to be released later this year
US fashion brand Paul Frank is stepping into beauty for the first time, following a partnership between Saban Brands, an affiliate of private equity company Saban Capital Group, and colour cosmetics manufacturer Lotta Luv Beauty.
The new cosmetics line is expected to feature Paul Frank's iconic monkey, Julius, housed in colourful packaging designed by Lotta Luv, who have previously launched flavoured lip products for confectionery brands Hershey’s, Nestlé and Wonka. The products, which will be aimed at young teens, will include lip balm, lipgloss, nail polish, hair accessories and gift sets. Items will retail for between $1—$20, and be released later this year in the US.
