Italian cosmetics brand, Patricia Milton, has become the first Italian firm to produce a line of sun protection that combines UVA/UVB filters with jellyfish repellent under its Eclisse banner.
Patricia Milton has teamed up with Israeli firm, Nidaria to produce the line, using the firm's anti sting technology which is based on an understanding of a jellyfish's stinging mechanism and the protection system used by clownfish to safeguard themselves from sea anemones.
The line comprises Eclisse Sea Protection Baby + FP 40 Waterproof and Sea Protection + FP 8 Waterproof. The Mediterranean is known to be a hot spot for jellyfish.
