Paper and rPET mix offers a unique packaging solution

Plastique Limited is offering its customers innovative thermoformed packaging made from Flextrus Paperlite with rPET, a new material comprising a blend of rPET polymer and FSC certified sustainable paper. The material can be used to create soft, sculptural packs and is claimed to impart a naturally tactile quality.

According to Plastique, Flextrus Paperlite can be pre-printed, thermoformed, film lidded and heat-sealed to itself, or to conventional rPET, to create a range of point of sale packaging options.
