Nickel opens London spa

Ten years after opening the first men only spa in Paris, Nickel has set up a new spa in London in Covent Garden.

Founder Philippe Dumont is hoping for annual turnover of a little under £1m from the new spa, which is designed to present an egalitarian, user-friendly treatment space for men. The ground floor houses a store with all the Nickel products along with complementary lines from Phyto and êShave, while the five treatment rooms are sited in the basement. The aim is to build the name and then widen distribution.
