Since launching in 2007, Irish organic marine brand Voya has doubled its turnover nearly every year and won multiple awards for its skin care products. Georgia Seago searches for the secret.

When Mark and Neil Walton’s father was helping to kickstart the organic movement in Ireland in the late 70s, it’s unlikely that he ever dreamed it would result in Voya as it is today. The brand’s roots have grown from a family-run seaweed bath house in Strandhill, County Sligo, where the therapeutic properties of wild seaweed have long been recognised.
