Matrametal is located in Sirtok, Hungary
German company Tubex Holding has bought aluminium aerosol cans and aluminium tubes specialist Matrametal.
The terms of Tubex’s acquisition of Sirtok, Hungary-based Matrametal were not disclosed.
Tubex provides aluminium aerosol cans, aluminium tubes, aluminium cartridges and plastic tubes for the cosmetics industry, as well as for pharma, food and technology.
With the Matrametal purchase, Tubex will have seven production sites with a capacity of 700 million aerosol cans and 1.6 billion aluminium tubes.
Dr Cornelius Grupp, Managing Director of Tubex Holding, commented: “The acquisition of Matrametal complements the strategic orientation of the Tubex Group in terms of location, customers and market.”
