Australian make-up brand Inika Organic's new launch is said to have taken five years of development

A-beauty make-up brand Inika Organic has expanded into skin care.

The Australian company boasts that the 12-product line will be the “most concentrated on the market” in terms of scientifically proven, active botanical ingredients.

At 5%, according to Inika Organic, the active ingredients will be “more than double” the industry standard.

Hero actives include caviar lime, maca root, grape seed extract and desert plant Rose of Jericho.

Sharon Rechtman, co-founder of parent company Total Beauty Network, said that Inika is on a mission to “detoxify cosmetic bags worldwide”.

“With the launch of our skin care range, our mission is now to detoxify entire beauty routines globally,” she continued.

“There is nothing like Inka Organic Skincare currently on the market with our unique 5% natural active ingredients.

“It was really important for us to create a skin care line that has proven results to help educate consumers that they don’t need to compromise on quality or performance when making the switch to natural.”

Available from February 2020, via inikaorganic.com, the collection (from £29) includes a serum, an eye cream, exfoliator, moisturisers, rosehip oil and micellar rosewater.

First launched in 2006, the brand’s formulations are said to contain a minimum of 70% certified organic ingredients.

The cruelty-free products are housed in recyclable packaging and FSC cardboard boxes.
