It has only been six years since Tom Pellereau shook hands with Lord Sugar and walked away with his £250,000 investment, the words ‘you're hired’ sealing the deal.

But in Pellereau years, that’s a veritable business lifetime. The 38-year-old inventor wasted no time in bringing his curved nail file Stylfile to market – more than two million have been sold since launch.

His latest inventions include the Stylfile time-saving gel nail polish remover kit and StylPro make-up brush cleaner and drier.

“The thing I love is trying to make life easier,” Pellereau tells Cosmetics Business. “The buzz I get when someone says that the product really helps them, saves time and is fun – it’s huge to me and that’s why I do this.”
