The spa sector in Italy continues to grow,
staking a firmer place in number of centres aiming
to deliver aesthetic beauty and wellness in the
country.
According to a report on the state of the
industry by Professor Nicola Quirino and
presented at the 2016 assembly of Federterme, the
trade association for the spa sector, in 2015 there
were 380 spas in 19 regions in the country and
employing 65,000 employees.
They provided
more than 15 million spa services, generating a
turnover of around €800m.
