Online beauty store and brand Sigma Beauty has launched a partnership with eBay Enterprise, an eBay Inc company.
Under the multi-year agreement, eBay Enterprise will provide fulfillment and freight services for Sigma Beauty both in the US and abroad.
Tara Vogelgesang, Director of Operations at Sigma Beauty, said: “Having previously managed our fulfillment in-house, it was a major shift to start working with eBay Enterprise, but it quickly became clear that it was the right move. Our experience with eBay Enterprise has been fantastic, and their expertise in fulfillment operations has been great for our business. After a successful launch, we’re looking forward to the fruitful partnership ahead of us.“
Providing both inbound and outbound fulfillment services for Sigma Beauty, eBay Enterprise will help to deliver branded and custom packaging for b2c and wholesale orders.
Tom Barone, Vice President of North America operations at eBay Enterprise, added: “Using our commerce operations expertise to help rapidly growing brands like Sigma Beauty succeed in new channels is what drives our business forward. To already see such significant improvements in efficiency is a testament to a strong and valued partnership right out of the gate. I’m excited to see our great work continue into the holiday season.”
Sigma Beauty was founded as an online-only retailer in 2009, but has since gone on to open a bricks-and-mortar store.
