Shiseido lights up Christmas tree made of glass flasks in Japan

The cosmetics brand has opened its Global Innovation Center in Yokohama to the public featuring its unique take on a classic Christmas tree

Beauty company Shiseido has turned on the lights to a Christmas tree with a twist for the festive season.

The lights to a unique ‘flask tree’ have been switched on at the company’s Global Innovation Center, also known as S/PARK, in Yokohama, Japan.

Members of the public are invited to view the 8m high tree, located in the open plan entrance lobby on the first floor from 8.30-9pm every day until 27 December.

The tree is decorated with 417 iconic flasks decorated with snowflakes and filled with glowing lights in the shape of candles.

The lights are said to reflect off the clear glass resulting in a sparkling vision that the company hopes will deepen interactions with its customers over the festive period.
