Company described as 'Netflix for perfume'
US beauty box subscription service Scentbird New York – which has been described as the ‘Netflix for perfume’ – has taken its first step into the male grooming sector with a new offering designed specifically for men.
Those who subscribe to Scentbird Men ($14.95/month) can choose from a range of designer men’s fragrances and receive a deluxe mini cologne spray delivered to their doors each month.
Fragrance brands included in the service are Girogio Armani, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford and Ralph Lauren, among others. Scentbird hopes that through its new service men will be able to trial a range of scents without having to commit to just one fragrance, that they may end up not liking over time.
The fragrances are delivered in small spray formats, which the company noted can be thrown into a pocket, suitcase or gym bag without being obtrusive or weighing a lot.
