Ren Clean Skincare will host a pop up in Shoreditch, London, to launch its upcoming Evercalm Barrier Support Body Balm.
The event, which opens to the public on 6 September, will showcase the British skin care brand’s product range through ASMR and edutainment content.
An immersive zone where visitors can choose to be either ‘soothed’ or ‘energised’ will also feature in the space.
“We are very excited to take Ren back to its East London roots where the brand was first launched in 2000 through a pop-up at the Andaz London,” said Michelle Brett, CO of Ren Clean Skincare.
Ren’s new Evercalm Barrier Support Body has been developed to support the body’s skin barrier and microbiome.
It features the brand’s patented Barrier Support Complex, and its balm-to-oil formula is designed for sensitive, dry and eczema-prone skin.
“Our innovative and immersive 2023 pop up will debut our new Evercalm Barrier Support Body Balm and invite consumers to experience our highly efficacious and sustainably focused clean skin care,” added Brett.
Last month, Ren Clean Skincare slashed its product portfolio by a third as part of a wider strategy to modernise the brand and crack the US market.
It discontinued 29 products and dropped five planned launches. Instead, the Unilever-owned brand said that it will use investment instead to make North America its number-one market – currently it is the UK.
“We still have markets where we have little awareness – the US is one of them – so it is a huge opportunity for us to grow there, and awareness is a big part of our shifting spend to drive that brand equity,” Ren Clean Skincare CEO Michelle Brett told Cosmetics Business at the time.
