Naturisimo, the online beauty retailer, has named industry veteran Rolando Zabban as its new CEO.
Founded by Dr Cristina Llamas-Rey in 2008, Naturisimo specialises in natural, organic and ethical cosmetic brands.
Zabban joins the e-commerce company from his position as Managing Director for socially conscious, luxury fragrance brand Sana Jardin.
He also served as COO for premium skin care company Omorovicza Cosmetics, where he has been attributed to managing the brand during a "time of tremendous growth".
"Naturisimo's positioning is more relevant than ever to the modern conscious and discerning consumer, and we are looking forward to growing our community," said Zabban.
"Transformation in the pipeline includes tightening our curated offering of brands, introducing new exclusive brands and expanding the key wellness range.
"We will be building on our sustainable and philanthropic ethos through strategic partnerships and initiatives while of course making the search and purchase experience more direct and seamless.”
The retailer has recently become a 1% for the Planet member, an organisation that sees companies donate at least 1% of annual sales to environmental causes.
Zabban added: "It was a natural progression for us as a company. Everything we do, from our product range to our packaging, is consciously created with the health of both people and the planet in mind."
