From colour cosmetics to skin care, the cult NYC-based beauty brand's products are certified cruelty-free, paraben-free and 100% vegan

Cult cosmetics brand Milk Makeup has been awarded Leaping Bunny certification by Cruelty Free International, assuring consumers that none of its products have been tested on animals.

The Leaping Bunny logo will be displayed across the US brand's entire product range, as the latest in its ongoing mission to be more environmentally friendly as more clean-focused ingredients and technologies are available, according to the brand.

Speaking about the certification, Kim Paschen, Communications Manager at Leaping Bunny, said: “Consumers know that animal tests on cosmetics are outdated and unnecessary.

“There are plenty of amazing products on the market which are not animal-tested that are completely safe and work as they are supposed to.

“This influx of cruelty-free products into the marketplace has raised the bar for everyone involved.”

Milk Makeup joins more than 1,200 brands in confirming its products have not been tested on animals at any part of the supply chain.

Last year, the brand further cemented its commitment to animal-free beauty by making its entire product line 100% vegan, eliminating all animal-derived ingredients.
