MAC Cosmetics has launched a limited edition Whitney Houston make-up collection.
The 11-piece range has landed to tie in with a new biopic about the late singer’s life – I Wanna Dance with Somebody – which comes out on 23 December.
The MAC X Whitney Houston collection features products inspired by the star’s signature style and was created in collaboration with the Estate of Whitney E. Houston.
The cosmetics giant referenced personal photographs, iconic stage performances and interviews to make sure the singer was personified in the products.
Many shades within the range also feature Houston’s childhood nickname – Nippy.
The Estate said the singer was a big fan of MAC Cosmetics and the collection was even used on the set of the new movie.
Houston passed away ten years ago and became the most awarded artist of all time.
During her decades-spanning career, she had 11 Billboard number-ones.
These include ‘I’m Every Woman’ and ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’.
The 11-piece collection includes a blusher and highlighter that have an eighties feel
What is in the MAC X Whitney Houston collection?
The range includes an eight-pan smoky eye palette, so fans can recreate Houston’s sultry look.
Just Whitney is a metallic liquid-powder highlighter in a golden bronze, which complements the eighties-inspired fake lashes.
There is also a powder blush available in red-plum or coral-pink, shimmering lip gloss in copper or gold, and a gold square make-up bag.
A statement lipstick is also available in four shades – Nippy’s Sensual Red, Nippy’s Moody Nude, Nippy’s Fiesty Red and Nippy’s Rose.

MAC Global Creative Director, Drew Elliott, said: “We wanted to bring her fans along the journey with us.
“As we created the collection to really make sure it is representative of what her community expects.
“Not only did we want to honour her legacy, but also the impact she made on her community over the years.”
Pat Houston, executor of the Estate of Whitney E. Houston, commented: “Whitney was always a champion of women feeling beautiful.
“Whether it was a major event or just for everyday wear.
“Our work with MAC is about creating a line that can meet all of those needs.
“The line will be true to the eye and lip colours that she loved to work with.”
This is not the first beauty collaboration inspired by Houston.
The Whitney Houston Estate also partnered with Scent Beauty to launch a signature fragrance in the singer's honour in October.
The perfume is fruity and floral, with top notes of pear leaves, pink pepper and neroli.
Other beauty icons have been honoured in new ranges too, including actress Marilyn Monroe.
Bésame Cosmetics paid homage to the fifties female figurehead this year with a 15-piece make-up collection.
